Re-design of a garden deck

As you can see from the before photographs, this deck was in need of an update. During the project we replaced the existing wooden deck with new composite decking. We have begun to use composite decking in some of our projects for it’s longevity (*read more below). As well as replacing the deck, we also changed the layout to provide more useable space. Adding a brick wall up between two steps to give height to a flower bed created a good colour contrast. Then to finish, we added decorative metal banisters to seperate off but still show the pond and add further interest. Take a look for yourself below:

*The composite decking that we use is made from 55% recycled Wood, 35% recycled plastic (HDPE) and 10% additives such as UV inhibitors, anti algae, antioxidants and colourants. This coupled with its 5 cell construction makes it strong and durable. Perfect for low maintenance gardens created with thoughtful design.
