Garden Makeover 1 - feat. cleft chestnut post & rail, closeboard fencing and pergola
This front garden and driveway had become overgrown and unusable, which was making the space feel smaller and dark.
Our customer wanted to let in light in to the house and garden, whilst creating a more open feel. We set about removing the hedge, clearing the planting and making way for the new features.
The front hedge was replaced by cleft chestnut post and rail fencing. A bin store was created with a new closeboard fence line and a pergola was installed to create interest and hopefully a small seating area that will hold some beautiful low maintenance climbers in the future. We are still in the middle of implementing the planting scheme for this project, more to share very soon!
